This is my graduation project (due next year actually, but hey, an earlier start is better. Plus, I should have the game perfected by then). The online multiplayer (will be programmed last) is the actual graduation project part.

This is a platformer-view RTS.

Planning list:
-Campaign mode (working on)
-Free play mode (Pretty much done)
-Online mode (for my graduation project) (will different types of battle modes but I'll program the battle mode first)
-Achievements (done pretty much)
-Perks (mostly done) (perks can't be used in Campaign)
If you can put them to use, feel free to do so. Just show me the project and give credit.
Ok, starting with the free concepts:
Ghost
I saw a bag on tree... and viola!
Spider Boss
This was actually made for project mirror; I just don't wanna necropost. By the way, how's that project going?

It's only two, but I likely have more to dig up. And I've got a lot of drawing in me.

Also, two concepts for my own project:
Verse and Batta.
I'm glad I finally have fitting characters. I don't want my first game to be too serious.

Just wanted to share something with you guys: It's the tech demo for the battle system of Adisa's Journey -- an uber-ambitious project I'm working on for this contest, based on a novel I've been writing on-and-off for a few years now.
Seeing as there's money riding on this, I thought I'd gather as much criticism as possible from all corners of the internet, just to make sure I don't fuck this one up (this could end up paying my rent for a couple months XD).

I wanted something to do, while Cyber Suits is on hold, so I decided to do this little sideproject.

For now I'm just working towards a basic Bomberman game. It will be multiplayer only, because it's easier to make.

If I get as far as getting the basic game complete, I might add some more things like more game modes, more powerups, and maybe some networking.

Current Demo (V0.1.1):
It's the first demo, so there isn't really much to do. Use the arrow keys to walk up, down, left and right... And... that's it...

It's written in XNA, which means it will only run on Windows. It also requires .Net, DirectX and the XNA framework installed. The installer will check for them and will install the last two for you, while you will be asked to download and install .Net yourself if it isn't already installed.

This series doesn't have a name yet, but the name would probably be, "The Great Destruction". The story of this series is about a world that has been attacked by The Great Destruction.
The Great Destruction is basically a powerful gas that destroys or changes things it touch. But, The Great Destruction was really just a myth and no one believed it, until one day that changed 3 heroes.

Its basically a 3 game series with 3 different gameplay. The first game is called "ChochoLand", the second game is called, "Swamp, and last the third game is called "White Shots".

ChochoLand is a game about a chocolate cube who has to basically fix his home town which he had ruin.
To fix his home town he needs to get different equipment/material from different towns or areas, along the way he will meet up with enemies and allies

Swamp is a game about a town that has been affected by TGD turning them into trees and plants, but one of the creatures barely got affected and gain a ivy substance power, but wears a hooded outfit to hide his ugly self. He tries to find a cure for his town and for himself before the gas takes over his body turning him into a plant.
But, the more he turns into a plant the more powers he gains.

White Shots doesn't really have a story yet, but the main character is a bat like creature and he uses a gun to kill zombies that have been revived by TGD.

-----
Some sprites have already been made for ChochoLand but still needs some re-editing before posting it here.

NGG's Pokemon Project is on hold due to the spriters having real-life issues, so let me present TimeLine.

If Civilization and Advance Wars had a kid, that kid would be TimeLine. TimeLine is being programmed in XNA for the PC, but if I can get my Xbox fixed in time I'll port it to XBLA for the latest XNA competition.

For those who haven't played Civ, you play as the leader of a nomadic tribe that has decided to settle down and form a civilization. You can found cities, train units, and conquer other civilizations.

What I have so far:
Tile-based mapping
Basic character movement

What I need before first demo:
Finish A* algorithm implementation
Basic combat

alpha screenshot:
If any spriters want to help make graphics, that'd really be great. There's no way I can sprite everything

I didn't see a thread about this game, so I decided to make one.

Cave Story is a free 2D platformer game developed by Daisuke Amaya, otherwise known as Pixel.

I think there's a WiiWare version (by Nicalis) of it coming out soon with updated graphics and music (I don't have a Wii anyway, so doesn't matter to me).

The game is originally in Japanese, and has been translated by Aeon Genesis.

You can get the game from the fansite here.

They also have various ports. Such as for the PSP, which I'm currently playing.

Also note that there are three different endings, one of which requires you to do various things in order to access, but definitely worth it. Especially if you wish to test your survival skills in the game.

Sorry if I sounded like a total windbag about the game. And also trying to be as spoiler-free as possible.

Resident Evil parody platformer that draws on jokes and memes created throughout the whole series.
Though it wont have a horror atmosphere (obvs) It will have trademark Resident Evil makings - big spooky mansions (but more like castles in SMW) Zambies, Zambie dogs, Tyrants, Wesker, and all of that fun stuff.

The game will have four to five playable characters, with one secret character I've already decided on.
Gameplay is less Mario, more Castlevania in a more super-deformed artstyle.
Each character in the game has different weapons and is 'color coded' who all play differently, with the current roster being

Jill Valentine - Leon Kennedy - Rebecca Chambers - Chris Redfield.
(this isn't set in stone, but Jill and Rebecca are)
Corresponding to Blue, Darkblue, Green and Yellow respectively.

All come with two weapons that can be used completely differently,
and selecting a different character will change certain things about the game. (Rebecca has an herb mixing minigame, Jill picks up Jill Sandwiches)

Concept sprites:

Silhouette is a great project and all, but I feel as if I should perfect enemy behaviors and boss AIs before I continue serious work on it

SO IN THE MEANTIME, I decided to work on a little side-project so that I can get used to working on enemies and gunning and things of this nature

and so this game came to mind

essentially, this is going to be a simple run-and-gun game with simple graphics. The twist? First off, when you die, you die brutally. Second, you only get one chance per character you have.

What does this mean? Well, if you kill a character in one level, you can't use him/her until you clear the level. The characters have access to a machine that can resurrect your dead characters, but you can't resurrect anyone until you clear out a level. The resurrection machine works by taking a character's dead body (or body part(s)) and rebuilds their bodies based on the DNA of the remains. So it -really- doesn't help if no one makes it back from their missions.

So how does this gimmick work? This comes into play when you find your dead teammates. The missions you are sent on are coincidentally the same missions that previous teammates never returned from, so if you find a dead body lying around in a mission, you can pick it up and then later resurrect that character, allowing you to use them in future missions.

You begin the game with three available characters. So that means that you have three lives in the initial missions. If you find more members, they tack on to your total lives, which means you can potentially have more than twenty lives by the last mission.

Each character you have also has their own perks, own abilities, and own weapons of choices. The character I posted (code-named "King" in the game) is well-rounded (ie. normal health, normal damage, etc.) and can drop sentry turrets (sprays across the screen for a few seconds). Other characters can have different abilities and such (such as higher health, more weapon damage, double-jumping, speed boosts, etc.), so it's just a matter of preference as to who you want to load out first.

The character order is set before you embark on a mission. So it's all a matter of preference as to who you want to play as first, and who you want to be at the end of your line (like, the heavy-hitters go into the front and the bullet-sponges go to the back). Every time you get killed, the next character in-line switches in and continues straight from the nearest check-point. Just remember that you might have to play as every character in a single level, so don't get used to playing as just one character.

AS FOR THE CHARACTERS THEMSELVES, I PRESENT THIS:
I want the characters in the game to have some meaning. I don't want to have generic characters coming in and out and they were just random things that pop into my head. I want to ask YOU GUYS if you want to have a character in this game. If nobody wants in, then that's alright, and I can probably find some other people to join OR simply make the characters myself.
So if you want in, just post in this topic with a ref or something.

Again, this is only going to be a side project, and I want to use this to practice Gamemaker AI. Anything you guys think I can improve on before I continue work on it? :V
