Oh hey guys look, a rules topic!
M'kay, this is how it works around here. Follow the rules or you'll get warned, banned, suspended, etc, you know the drill. And if you don't, you will soon.
1) Please try to type as professionally as you can. - We're not looking for perfect spelling and omgnoswearingz, but at least ATTEMPT to type a sentence that isn't a run-on, or missing obvious punctuation marks, etc. It reflects down on the whole site when 80% of the members refrain from typing correctly. Also no LULZ, OMGWTFBBQ9000+, LOLCATS, and other things that will make us hate you forever. 2) No trolling, flaming or bashing of any kind. - This is a community, not an elitist group of assassins waiting to come down on someone for missing a joke, or telling a bad joke, or being wrong about something, or making a mistake. You don't have to be the nicest person in the world, but you also don't have to be a huge douche. 3) Try your best to post topics in the right forum. - Gaming topics don't go in General Discussion, spriting topics don't go in Real Life, personal problems don't go in Game Development. If you're unsure of where a topic goes, just post it where it seems right and a mod will move it if it's incorrect. 4) Please tag all NSFW topics with some kind of notice. - People of all ages (and maturities) will browse these forums; it's the internet. You can't filter everything on the internet, but you could have the decency to warn when something violent or that contains nudity is posted here. Remember that only tasteful NSFW content is allowed here; no porn, hentai, and stuff of that level belongs here. Basically, if you can see it in /b/, don't post it here. 5) Speaking of which, this is not 4chan, nor is it SomethingAwful. No spamming and no meme abuse. - Keep all your memes and jokes and bullshit from here. This is a spriting and game development site, not a dumpster for all your boredom and spam posts. 6) Avoid posting a topic more than once. - We all have internet troubles sometimes, this can cause us to post a topic in the same forum more than once. This is excusable for the most part. HOWEVER, posting a topic more than once in more than one forum will not be tolerated, and you will receive a warning for it. 7) No DIRECT advertisement. - If you're posting a topic about your gamejust to get people to leave here and go to your project, site, etc. itself, and you have no interest in actual discussion, comments/critcism, or anything related to the community, do not post it. Because I'll delete it. And you don't want that, because you'll have wasted the two minutes it took to type that shit up only for it to get deleted. Got it? Good. Follow these rules and we'll get along great. - Tyvon J. Thomas, head administrator of PixelxCore
